About Triple W Forum

Triple W Forum Chicago 2010

...Integration might be the principle underlying health at all levels of our experience, from the microcosm of our inner world to our interpersonal relationships and life in our communities. -- Daniel J. Siegel, M.D. (excerpt from Dr. Siegel's latest book Mindsight)

Dr. Siegel's view on "integration" echoes that of Triple W Forum's work/life integration-focused curriculum. Founded in 2009 by Jennifer H.G. Connelly, Triple W Forum LLC, is an annual Workshop, a conduit to resources for Women, and a community where Working Women can collaborate on ideas, insights and actions to better achieve work/life integration.

The mission of Triple W Forum, a Working Women's Workshop, is to provide professional women with an educational environment centered around work/life integration in an effort to develop, share and transform their innate strengths and talents to help themselves, to benefit each other and ultimately, to impact the world. "Unleash Your Happy" is a mantra by which we live and work.

The Triple W Forum Experience

Triple W Forum Chicago 2010

Triple W Forum is for working women with established careers from a variety of industries who find themselves at a turning point in their lives. Such turning points might include new responsibilities, career changes, life changes – anything that provides a woman the opportunity to stop and reconsider her life.

At the Workshop, participants go through a module-based curriculum focused on work/life integration. They leave with tools, tips and resources in the areas of wellness, leadership, communication, business strategy, technology, organization and planning. Equipped with insights from the curriculum, participants develop a unique and actionable Life Transformation Plan, an Action Plan and receive a Toolkit of resources to support its execution. In addition, they develop newfound connections to others in the community. Adopting the mindset of both student and teacher (or mentor and mentee), the participant has the dual benefit of realizing her own Action Plan as well as the role of influencing and supporting the plans of other participants through an accountability partner program and ongoing, optional opportunities to connect post-Workshop.

Triple W Forum supports area nonprofits through a scholarship program. In Chicago, Triple W Forum partnered with The Eleanor Foundation to award Workshop scholarships to the Eleanor Network -- area nonprofit organizations that support working women in Chicago. The Eleanor Foundation is a public grantmaking fund focused on investing in programs that help single working women in Chicago achieve sustained economic independence -- for themselves, their children and their communities.
